It’s safe to say that ignoring consumer data is akin to sailing without a compass — adventurous but, let’s face it, a bit reckless.

Smart brands want to associate themselves with a strong purpose. And having a Holistic Brand Identity is a one way to uncover and showcase yours.

But that’s not all. Emotional loyalty is the strongest bond one can have with their ideal clients.

It’s the glue stronger than any discount or deal could ever be.

Even if it means driving 20 miles extra to get our hands on overprices coffee that smells like freshly baked cookies and tastes like chocolate cake. You know why?

Because we as people long to belong. We want the brands we buy from to have similar values to ours.

That coffee shop? It’s not just a place; it’s an extension of our community, a holder of our values, much like the brands we choose to embrace.

Don’t believe me? Look at your group of friends, or your circle of people.

How did you started hanging out?

Most of us will say ” we have common interests,” “we went to the same school”, “we just get each other”, “we like to gossip”…jk 🙈.

All of those are signs of your subconscious mind attracting you to your folks. Guess what??? Your brain subconsciously makes you like brands that align with your deeper values. Many of us don’t even pay too much attention to this.

In Psychology this is called “the sense of belongingbased on a motivational human need to maintain interpersonal relationships and positive social bonds, and as such, it becomes significant for our overall development and well-being.

And let’s not get too academic here, but imagine your brain and heart doing a little dance every time you find a brand that just gets you. That’s brand affinity in action, folks — all backed by science, and maybe a dash of magic.

And so, the same applies to your ideal clients. Your values are what attracts them to you! But nowadays slapping 3 emotionless words doesn’t touch people’s hearts. Then what does?
